What to do:
Step 1
Gather together all the things that you need to make the Fake Ice Cream.
Step 2
Using the scissors trim the sponges into three ball shapes. This is a bit tricky so you may need an adult to help. Scissors are also sharp so please be careful. Dab some glue onto the bottom of the three sponges and stick them in the old plastic bowl. (Please make sure you have permission to use the bowl first!)
Step 3
Paint the sponges. To make the fake sauce mix some of the different coloured paint with the PVA glue. Now pour this over your fake ice cream scoops. Before it dries sprinkle the cake decorations over it.
Step 4
For the wafer use the corrugated card and cut it into a triangle shape, with one curved edge. Put this into the bowl and leave the whole thing to dry.
Step 5
Take the spoon and put a dab of PVA glue on the back of it, then slip this into the bowl and leave to dry. You can use different coloured paint to make different flavours of fake ice cream, like chocolate ice cream with strawberry sauce or vanilla ice cream with strawberry sauce.
This should take about 30 mins
