Wrap Around Shades
You Will Need:
• light shade,
• push light,
• acetate,
• paper,
• felt tip,
• pencil,
• paper fasteners,
• The lampshade is made from a coloured piece of acetate and an ordinary piece of paper. Draw a picture on one side of an ordinary piece of paper, in black felt tip pen.
• When done, flip the paper over and draw another design, this time using pencil.
• Next, punch four holes in each end of the piece of acetate.
• Curve the acetate round, line up the holes and pop paper fasteners through each hole, opening them out to keep the curved acetate in place.
• Pop the lampshade on top of the push light
• fold the paper design round and drop it inside the lampshade
• turn the light on and there you have a fantastic Wrap Around Shade, and you can see both the front and back designs at once!
