Finger Puppet

Finger Puppet

Cone shaped mice made from card
Make a little mouse finger puppet or two.

What to do:

Step 1

Part 1
Gather together all the things that you need to make the Permanent Sandcastle

Step 2

Part 2
Roll the half circle of paper into a cone shape and stick it in place with some sticky tape. Make a pinch in the nose and then make a slit in the top with your scissors. Be careful as scissors are sharp.

Step 3

Part 3
Fold the rectangle of paper in half and cut out an ear shape. The ears should fit in the slit you've made.

Step 4

Part 4
Stick on two stickers for eyes and a tail made from the pipe cleaner - you can use sticky tape to stick this in place.

Step 5

Part 5
If you've got more than a minute, you could add black dots on the eyes, or you could make different coloured mice with different coloured paper.
This should take about 5 mins

You will need:

  • 2 pieces of mousy coloured card - a small rectangle and a half circle
  • Scissors
  • White stickers (or circles of white paper)
  • Pipe cleaners
  • A pen
  • Sticky tape
